This year, 30 very lucky thrill seeking locals are being given an unprecedented, once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the headline act at Real Festival on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November.
That’s right, we’re giving locals the opportunity to be a part of the world premiere performance of the Real Festival headline act “All That We Are” - a never before seen production that is an international collaboration led by acclaimed Spanish director, Younes Bachir.
Festival organisers have really gone all out this year on the headline performance to bring you “All That We Are” - an aerial spectacular performed in the air and above the water. You’ll soar to new heights, literally, on a crane with 30 performers connected 30 metres off the ground. This elaborate, breathtaking and thought provoking show is beyond spectacular and is a celebration of unity and the spirit of our Penrith community.
Still interested? You’ll join a professional stunt team that are experts in human flying, and will soar above the trees and the Nepean River some 30 metres up in the air. What a way to cure a fear of heights!
You need absolutely no experience to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, and it doesn’t matter if you have never performed on stage or in front of an audience before. You will need to be 18 years of age or older to fly, however there is also a ground based element of the performance that anyone can be involved in! Maybe grab a mate, a work colleague or bring your family to join you and you’ll be able to share this special memory together for the rest of your lives.
Of course, you’ll get all the necessary training you’ll need to perform, the rest is over to you as you become one of the stars of the festival.
Penrith Mayor, Councillor Ross Fowler OAM said what a great story to tell your kids and grandkids in years to come, that you were part of a world premiere right here in your own backyard of Penrith.
“And this is just one part of the incredible program on offer at this year’s festival which is bursting with incredible entertainment, amazing performances, captivating artworks, unique interactive experiences, live music and great food,” Councillor Fowler said.
Be part of something different and truly spectacular. Expressions of Interest are now live on our website and close on Friday 27 September, so be quick to ensure you don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity because It’s first in, first served.
