Arts, culture and community are vital to establishing Penrith as a growing, creative city. By building a strong and vibrant arts and cultural sector we can keep and attract talented people who want to live, work and invest in our area.
We Create Penrith: Cultural Strategy & Action Plan 2024-28
In April 2024, Council endorsed its first cultural strategy and action plan. We Create Penrith will guide the use of Council’s resources over the next 4 years to advance cultural outcomes for our community and our city.
It articulates a Vision, “To share the diverse stories of Penrith and our people through arts, culture and creativity, forging connections, inspiring reflection and building our future together”.
We Create Penrith facilitates opportunities for all Penrith residents to come together in ways that are creative, respectful and inclusive, giving us the means to express and celebrate our shared culture.
The progress of We Create Penrith will be reported in Council’s Annual Report.
