Development Applications are displayed at the Penrith Civic Centre. By law, reportable political donations or gifts must be disclosed by anyone lodging a planning application to Council.

Viewing Development Applications
Council is required to make Development Applications (DAs) and certain associated documents publicly available under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. Pursuant to Section 101 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act, the below lists applications recently determined by Penrith City Council. Details of these determinations are available for public inspection free of charge during Council’s normal business hours (between 8.30am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays except Public Holidays) at the Civic Centre, 601 High Street, Penrith. Staff from Council’s Development Services team will be able to assist with any enquiries.

NOTICE OF COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND
Penrith City Council declares with the approval of Her Excellency the Governor that the land described in Schedule 1 below, excluding the interests described in Schedule 2 below, is acquired by compulsory process in accordance with the provisions of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991 for road purpose.
Sale of Land for Unpaid Rates and Charges – Local Government Act 1993 (NSW)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 715 of the Local Government Act (NSW) that Penrith City Council has resolved in pursuance with Section 713, to sell the land described below for unpaid rates and charges overdue for 5 years or more, as at 1 November 2024.

In default of payment to Council of the total amount due, and any other rates (including extra charges) that become due and payable after publication of this Notice, or an arrangement satisfactory to Council for payment of all such rates being entered into before the fixed time of sale, the land will be offered for sale by public auction. The auction will be held at 11am on Saturday 1 March 2025 at the property.
Pursuant to Clause 7 of the Roads Regulation 2018, notice is hereby given that an application has been received for the naming of the following road.

Wadigu Drive | BADGERYS CREEK | Road starts at Elizabeth Drive and heads in a northerly direction for approximately 520m where it intersects with two roads with proposed names Binyang Street and Balga Street. |
Yarrawa Parkway | BADGERYS CREEK | Road starts towards the eastern end of the proposed Binyang Street heading in a southerly direction and bends around westerly to meet the proposed Magura Street for a distance of approximately 456m. |
