Small Business owners living with a disability are invited to attend a free business workshop designed to help kickstart your journey and turn your passion into a thriving business.
The IgniteAbility Small Business Workshop for People with a Disability is for individuals seeking personal growth, skill development, and a path to a brighter future.
Hosted by Ignite Small Business Startups at Penrith Library on 24 October, from 1:30 to 3:00pm, this transformative event promises to be a valuable experience for all attendees.
Ignite® Small Business Startups is a social enterprise developed to facilitate small business creation and expansion for people from a refugee or migrant background, people with a disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from other communities who face barriers to entrepreneurship.
IgniteAbility is a ground-breaking program that taps into an individual’s ambitions and motivations for a future of sustainable self-employment. The program was developed in 2016, and tailored to address barriers and meet the specific needs of entrepreneurs with disability.
The IgniteAbility Program is open to anyone living with a disability, as well as parents, carers and support workers of people with disabilities.
This free 1-hour workshop is designed to help business owners understand the difference between a hobby and a business and the value of each, evaluate the overall potential of your idea, identify your personal strengths, skills and role in your business, and learn the importance of having a supportive business community, and how to find one.
This workshop is suitable for people with a disability who have a business idea, have an existing small business, or do not have a business idea but are interested in learning more about the IgniteAbility Program.
Secure your free ticket to this event via Eventbrite or Humanitix.
