Presented by Penrith City Council on 24 July in partnership with Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sydney and Economic Development Australia (EDA), the webinar featured case studies on successful collaboration between industry and Council to deliver circular economy programs.

Attendees heard from Belinda Atkins, Sustainability and Resilience Lead at Penrith City Council, who has a key focus on maximising environmental performance by integrating sustainability and resilience principles and outcomes into policy, strategy and processes. Belinda was joined by Carla Neimes, Resource Recovery Education Officer at Penrith City Council, and Ritchie Djamhur, Founder of Superyard – a Sydney-based social enterprise on a mission to drive sustainability in the construction industry.
