Council is considering a staged subdivision in the urban release area of South Werrington Urban Village that will be determined by the Sydney Western City Planning Panel.
Plans for the new community include 265 residential lots, 14 industrial lots, open space lots and 17 residue lots, the proposal also includes an Exhibition Village.
South Werrington Urban Village is bordered by Chapman Street and Rance Road and adjoins Cobham Juvenile Detention Centre, Wollemi College and Western Sydney University.
The new community will be part of the Werrington Enterprise Living and Learning (WELL) Precinct along with Caddens and Caddens Hill, Claremont Meadows stage 2 and the Werrington mixed use area. The precinct is expected to provide up to around 7,800 jobs by 2031.
