Ensitech is a wholly Australian-owned company and inventor and manufacturer of the TIG Brush® Stainless Steel Weld Cleaning System.
The business is passionate about ensuring its products are Australian made and proud to export to over 20 countries worldwide including the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Ensitech has been operating from Penrith for 13 years, and according to the company’s CEO, Clive White, its location is a key element to its ongoing success.
“We have great access to local resources, which helps us stay Australian made,” he said. “Local facilities and infrastructure have always been appropriate to our needs and the cost of operations is lower than other major Sydney centres, allowing us to stay competitive.”
According to Mr White. Ensitech’s break through export moment came in 2009 with the international launch of its TIG Brush® System.
“From that point our international sales increased dramatically,” he said. “Ensitech’s fluids are now manufactured in Australia, as well as under contract in the UK, New Zealand, Spain and the US, which provides flexibility and cost-efficiencies in meeting demands from various international markets.”
It’s ability to meet those demands helped the company secure a finalist award in the Export category in the 2018 annual Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE). In the same year, Ensitech was also shortlisted as a finalist in the Optus My Business Awards Export Business of the Year category.
Today, Ensitech employs 22 staff across its operations, more than half from the Penrith Region.
It’s clients and users include ACO Polycrete Australia, Migwell Australia, Burnback Welding, Sandvik Mining and Construction, and ConocoPhillips.
