Penrith Council has received an application for the construction of industrial units in what is proving a construction hotspot in Penrith.
The proposal from Presida Constructions would see the delivery of 28 industrial units along with car parking and landscaping. In its proposal the applicant notes the site is "conveniently located to road transport corridors and will provide excellent business and employment opportunities for the Penrith area".
If approved, the $5.7 million project would be the third active construction project in the industrial zone adjacent to Andrews Road. Currently under construction is Waterside Business Park and a multi-use facility that will include a medical centre and food outlets. Also nearby is the site for the $600 million Nepean Business Park owned by Precinct Capital.
With a plentiful supply of available lands and a booming population, investors are recognising the opportunities available in Penrith New West.
