The operator of a heritage-listed hotel in Penrith’s CBD is seeking to expand the business.
The owner of the Australian Arms Hotel has submitted a $23 million proposal to Council to build a seven-storey hotel building on the rear of the current hotel site.
If approved, the development would include 115 hotel rooms over six levels, as well as conference facilities, bar and restaurant, and basement parking.
The site of the proposed development is within walking distance to City Park, which will deliver a vibrant, contemporary, and green open space in the heart of Penrith’s City Centre.
The assessment process is underway.
