Fee Free traineeships

Guest speakers from TAFE NSW, State Training Services, Apprenticeship's Australia and a Penrith City Council representative will feature during the series.  

It also incentivises businesses to employ a young person without the financial burden, enabling the trainee to get the necessary practical ‘job ready’ experience within the workplace environment.

TAFE’s Fee-Free Traineeship initiative is in alignment to Council’s Mayoral Skills Summit which aims to address the skills gap in Penrith City. Council’s Economic Recovery Taskforce is also looking to provide young people and the community with educational pathways and opportunities to skill themselves for employment opportunities, post pandemic, contributing to a strong, resilient workforce for the future. 

Building and Construction & Infrastructure – 11 November 12pm – 1pm

Aged Care, Business Health Care General and Early Childhood – 18 November 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Baking, Commercial Cookery and Hospitality – 25 November 12pm – 1pm

Automotive and Transport and Logistics – 25 November 4:30pm – 5:30pm
