Riverfront dining proves to be an attractive proposition for investors and customers alike as another venue moves towards construction.

When constructed, the café will feature indoor and outdoor dining areas, bakery, and takeaway coffee. The venue will also house a farmyard and playground to appeal to the significant family demographic in Penrith.

In a statement made by owners of the site Phillip Hallani, Terry Chaouk and Jacob Farragher, they spoke of their passion for Penrith and the local community; “Anyone that lives in Penrith knows the amazing choices we have when it comes to dining, activities and lifestyle and we really hope to showcase what Penrith has to offer. There’s nowhere else we would want to be!”

The new venue will be built to the north of the highly popular East Bank dining precinct. Adjacent to Tench Reserve, the precinct includes eight dining options across an assortment of cuisines attracting diners from across Penrith City and beyond.

Nepean River’s western side is also transforming. Currently home to Emu Hall and Café at Lewers, Council is planning to redevelop the Police Cottage into a destination dining venue. The proposal, currently under consideration, would see the heritage listed property respectfully restored and will maximise the sites’ views of the river.

The Orchard is expected to commence construction in the coming months.
