Penrith City Council also supports a number of additional funding opportunities:

ClubGRANTS

Brief overview: ClubGRANTS is a community development funding program sponsored by local Registered Clubs and coordinated by Penrith City Council. This scheme enables registered clubs with an annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million to apply 1.85% of their gaming machine revenue to specific community development and support projects. 

Eligible applicants:

To be eligible to apply, you must able to provide the following project and/or services:

  • community welfare or social services,
  • community development,
  • community health services or employment assistance activities.

Funding available:

Given this funding is based on yearly revenue, the amount varies from year to year and there is no cap to how much you can apply for.

Key dates:

Each year the round opens on the 1st of February and closes on the 30th of May.

Heritage Grants

Brief overview:

Penrith City Council’s Heritage Assistance Fund is funding available to owners of domestic scale listed heritage items and contributory items to Heritage Conservation Areas. The grant assists owners in repairing and maintaining heritage listed properties. Find out more information on the Heritage Conversation page.
