Penrith Council is providing a way to connect those impacted from the COVID-19 pandemic through its Good Neighbour program.
Neighbourly Isolation cards are now available to assist in identifying what community members may require while they are self-isolating due to COVID-19.
Penrith Mayor Ross Fowler OAM said that these cards were a good and easy way to connect community members safely with one another during this time.
“The Good Neighbour program aims to bring the community together, and we see this as a vital component in connecting neighbours with one another during this time,” he said.
“All you have to do is download the card, print and distribute amongst your neighbours.
“This is a safe way of communicating community needs and ensuring that everyone is supported during this time.
“It maintains the need for social distancing but importantly, allows the community to look out for each other during these difficult times,” he continued.
