Internationally renowned outdoor theatre company Stalker Theatre are set to wow the crowds as the headline entertainment at Real Festival at the Nepean River from 2-3 November.
Stalker's headline performance is a never before seen production called Mountain; a montage of their work which showcases their fast-paced fusion of theatre, dance, circus and acrobatics.
Mountain will be performed on both Friday and Saturday night at Real Festival; with two performances each night at 7.45pm and 9.00pm so audiences of all ages can watch the show.
Having recently thrilled crowds in Columbia, Korea and Poland with their innovative and immersive physical theatre style performance, Director David Clarkson says they're now looking forward to bringing this new show to Penrith.
"We're very happy to be presenting our new work Mountain at Real Festival and for the opportunity to share our dynamic mix of aerial and digital design with audiences in Penrith," David said.
Penrith Mayor Ross Fowler OAM said there's no shortage of world-class entertainment and performances across both Friday and Saturday at Real Festival.
"This year's program showcases the very best performers, entertainers, and creative minds from across Australia and the world, with Stalker Theatre expected to be one of the biggest highlights," Cr Fowler said.
"There's plenty of opportunities to be entertained including illuminated and interactive artworks, stage shows, roving performers, street theatre, live music and so much more. Head to the website to view the event program and to plan your trip to the event."
Real Festival is proudly produced by Penrith City Council with the support of Busways, Seven News, Western Weekender and the NSW Government's tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
