Join us by the riverbank for fun, free workshops and experiences at Real Festival! Please note children must be supervised at all times by parents and carers and some workshops require pre booking as spaces are limited.

Community LanternContribute to creating a giant lantern to celebrate the Platypus, a beloved resident of the Nepean River! Once complete the Platypus will be floated on the river for the duration of the Festival for everyone to enjoy Location: Wharf |
Jason Phu ‘Make the Panther You Want to See’Image credit: Jason Phu Join artist Jason Phu for a playful, family-friendly adventure! Kids aged 6-12 can dive into a panther mask-making activity, guided by Jason himself. Snap a photo of your masterpiece against a cool, creative backdrop designed by the artist. This is a drop-in activity with a limit of 20 participants per hour, so come early and let the fun begin! Please note: All children must be supervised. Just Circus Workshop Roll up, roll up! Justin blends traditional one-man street theatre with the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. You’ll get to be part of the action, volunteering in the Circus Band! Solar car Meet the WSU Solar Car Team who design and build solar powered cars to race in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
